Now that the Holidays are behind us, it is time to get back to business as usual and the new year brings with it tax season. Please make sure that your VCA income is reported correctly by calling the VCA office or logging in to your account and confirming that the TIN or Social Security Number we have on file is correct. TIN or Social Security Numbers provided must match the name given in the “Corporate Name” part of your “Settings/My Info” section on your VCA account.
If you do not update your TIN or SSN with us by January 10th, 2015 we will assume it is correct and your 1099b will be transmitted to the IRS under the current information on file. Incorrect information may be subject to fines and or penalties.
1099B statements will be mailed by the end of January. If you would like to know your reported income prior to that you may check the Year To Date Sales on the VCA statement received January 1st, 2015.
